An important update: GDPR + new ownership

We have two important announcements to make affecting all BHost customers.

New Ownership

Effective from Sunday July 1st, 2018 your services will be provided by Mythic Beasts. Mythic Beasts are an established and highly respected player in the hosting industry – therefore customers are in very good hands. Mythic Beasts will take over billing of customers effective July 1st, 2018.

Customers can expect their services to continue as usual (the BHost brand is not going away), but you’ll start to notice improvements over the coming months. Firstly, Mythic Beasts will begin providing customer support from their Cambridge, UK based team. Over time the intention is to integrate BHost’s network and invest significantly in hardware upgrades and improvements.


The new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) goes into effect on May 25th, 2018. We have made changes to our privacy policy at to reflect this new regulation.

Even prior to GDPR we have long-maintained a stringent privacy policy and have always followed the highest standards when protecting our customer data.

As a result of the Mythic Beasts acquisition, all data stored on BHost’s customer management system will be transferred to Mythic Beasts. This includes service / billing details, support tickets, and historic invoices. The GDPR makes provision for such acquisitions, and it goes without saying Mythic Beasts is already fully GDPR compliant.

Customers will be hearing further updates from Mythic Beasts in due course but please be assured that despite the change in ownership, you will receive service as usual without any disruption.
