Reboot of all OpenVZ nodes – Morning of October 20th

Posted by / Oct 2, 2015 / Categories: Planned Maintenance

Due to a software update, we will need to reboot all OpenVZ nodes in UK1 (London) and NL1 (Amsterdam).

Nodes will be rebooted one by one, so no two nodes will be down at the same time.

The reboot will cause customer virtual machines to be down for up to 1 hour, though in reality the downtime should be less than 1 hour.

The maintenance window will be:

Monday, 19 October 2015, 18:00:00 – 21:00:00 (USA West Coast)
Monday, 19 October 2015, 21:00:00 – 00:00:00 (USA East Coast)
Tuesday, 20 October 2015, 02:00:00 – 05:00:00 (British Summer Time / UK1 local time)
Tuesday, 20 October 2015, 03:00:00 – 06:00:00 (Central European Summer Time / NL1 local time)

Customer virtual machines will be shut down cleanly before we reboot the nodes. Please ensure any important services on your virtual machine are configured to start automatically upon boot.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this essential maintenance work.
